I had been planning to prepare a text to show real Zen counseling on my YouTube channel, and now I can finally create a complete Zen counseling text.

しかし、稼ぎまくっているのはまだ少数派である。 一億人に一人くらいである。
But those who are making a lot of money are still a minority – about one in every 100 million people.
しかし、完成したテキストをFacebook に投稿して その実践録画をYouTubeチャンネルで流すようになると少しずつ億万長者の禅カウンセラーが増えてくるに違いない。
However, if they were to post the completed text on Facebook and stream recordings of their practice on a YouTube channel, the number of millionaire Zen counselors would surely increase little by little.
全て英語に翻訳するのでさまざまな言語に翻訳されて全世界に億万長者の禅カウンセラーが誕生することになるに違いない。
Since the entire book will be translated into English, I’m sure it will be translated into many other languages and billionaire Zen counselors will be born all over the world.
たくさんの参加者の皆様の素朴な疑問にお答えしていく内に禅カウンセリングは、だんだんと精緻になり完成するができた。
As I answered the simple questions of the many participants, the Zen counseling gradually became more refined and complete.

カウンセリングを始める前からクライアントさん は何を問題として答えはどうなるかを 予言できるようになった。
Before even starting counseling, I am able to predict what their problem will be and what the answer will be.
つまりカウンセリングを始める前から上手くいくことが分かり安心してカウンセリングを始めることができる。
In other words, I can start counseling with peace of mind knowing that it will work before I even begin.
禅カウンセリングは人は皆仏である事実から 出来上がったいる。
Zen counseling is based on the fact that everyone is a Buddha.
クライアントを仏だと思うことができない人には難しい。
This is difficult for people who cannot think of their clients as Buddhas.
クライアントは迷える子羊であり、罪人であり、 救ってあげなければならない可哀想な存在だから、 アドバイスをして助けようとするのが西洋医学の心理学に基づいた西洋のカウンセリングです。
Western counseling, based on the psychology of Western medicine, tries to help clients by giving them advice because they are lost lambs, sinners, poor creatures who need to be saved.
禅カウンセリングは、西洋医学の心理学に一切基づいていません。 完全に新しい 東洋の カウンセリングです。
Zen counseling is not based on Western medical psychology at all. It is a completely new Eastern form of counseling.
禅カウンセリングは人は皆仏である という事実に基づいています。
Zen counseling is based on the fact that everyone is a Buddha.
しかし、人は皆仏は事実か仮説か？ 当初は、人は皆仏は事実だと証明することが出来なかったので、 仮説から始めました。
But is “everyone is a Buddha” a fact or a hypothesis? Initially, I couldn’t prove that “everyone is a Buddha” was a fact, so I started with the hypothesis.
もし人は皆仏であり、クライアントもまた仏であるとしたら、 アドバイスはいらないのではないか？ アドバイスをしないで結果が必ず出るカウンセリングは存在するのではないか ？ という仮説を元に実験していきました。 もし人は皆仏であり、クライアントもまた仏であるとしたら、 アドバイスはいらないのではないか？ アドバイスをしないで結果が必ず出るカウンセリングは存在するのではないか ？ という仮説を元に実験していきました。
If everyone is a Buddha, and if clients are also Buddhas, then perhaps advice is not necessary? Is there a form of counseling that is guaranteed to produce results without giving advice? Our experiments were based on this hypothesis.
実験を始めたのは1995年頃だったように記憶しています。 最初から上手くいって、アドバイスをすることなくいい結果が出ていたのですが、それを教えると上手くいかない人もたくさんいて、少しずつ改良を加えて、誰でもが学べることができて、あらゆる質問に答えて簡単な法則でできていることが分かりましたので禅カウンセリングは完成しました。
It worked well from the start and I was getting good results without any advice, but when I tried to teach it to many people it didn’t work for them, so I made small improvements and found that it was something that anyone could learn, that answered all my questions and was based on simple rules, and so Zen Counselling was completed.
この30年の実験の結果ハッキリしたことは、 人は皆仏は 事実だと言うことです。
What has become clear from these 30 years of experimentation is that it is true that everyone is a Buddha.
人間の深層心理は三層でできていて、 エゴ、愛、仏 でできている。
The human psyche is made up of three layers: ego, love, and Buddha.
表面的には人によって異なる問題を語られますが、クライアントの深層心理は共通していて、人はエゴであり、愛であり、仏なのです。
On the surface, different people talk about different issues, but deep down, clients all have the same psychology: they are ego, they are love, and they are Buddha.
私が伝えることは全て実験済みで絶対正しいので、議論をしません。
Everything I tell you has been tested and is absolutely correct, so there is no debate.
